The public has been urged to disregard speculations by some group of persons that the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board(JAMB) had commenced the sales of its application forms for 2017 UTME.
Dr. Fabian Benjamin, the board’s Head, Media and Information, debunked the speculations in a statement made available to the News Agency of Nigeria on Sunday in Lagos.
According to the statement, the Registrar of the examination body, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, has expressed disappointment with the development and calls on Nigerians to ignore the claims.
“The public is hereby notified that JAMB has not commenced the sales of its application documents as advertised by some unknown and desperate persons.
“They are to disregard any website or individuals claiming to be in possession of these documents and offering same for sales.
“We are putting finishing touches to innovation and changes to ease the challenges associated with the procedure of application for the 2017 all Computer-Based Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.
“We are looking forward to announcing the commencement of the sales of these documents very soon,’’ the statement quoted the registrar as saying.
